Loup, born in Raceland, Louisiana, attended Hahnville High School and Tulane University, where Aaron Loup led his teams to three state tournament berths and a five-hit shutout. The Blue Jays selected him in the ninth round of the 2009 draft out of Tulane University.
Aaron was called up to the Blue Jays as a substitute for Luis Pérez after pitching for the Blue Jays’ minor-league clubs for three years and was selected for the 2012 Eastern League All-Star Game.

He delivered a complete-game no-hitter against Terrebonne High School as a sophomore.

Does Leigh Ann Loup Have Children?
Leigh Ann Loup and Aaron has two children named Sophie Harper Loup and Wyatt Aaron Loup.
Sophie was born on August 24, 2013. Aaron subsequently went to Tulane University, where he majored in digital design and played for the Tulane Green Wave from freshman to junior year when the Toronto Blue Jays picked him.

He had a 4.37 ERA and 36 strikeouts in 35 innings as a freshman with the Green Wave. He played collegiate summer baseball with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League after the 2008 season.
Loup was selected in the ninth round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft by the Blue Jays. Loup was the second Green Wave player to be drafted after a solid showing for the Tulane Green Wave.
